Babar Azam came up with tweet after winning the series for Pakistan
Pakistan successfully whitewashed Zimbabwe in 3-match T20 series in Pakistan.
It was Zimbabwe’s second tour after 2015. Became only first team to tour Pakistan twice in last five years. Other teams who visited Pakistan after 2009 are Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh and World XI.
All the teams excepted Sri Lanka, Bangladesh charged huge amount for tour Pakistan in last tenure of PCB’s boss Najam Sethi. Since new chairman of PCB has arrived Pakistan haven’t paid any penny to any Cricketer to visit Pakistan.
Huge respect to Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe for touring Pakistan and helping us to revive International cricket back in Pakistan.
Coming back to series, Pakistan successfully whitewashed Zimbabwe in 3-match T20 series after wonderful bowling from Usman Qadir and brilliant batting of Babar Azam and Haider Ali.
All new players chipped up with some great performance including Haris Rauf and Mohammad Hasnain. Obviously not talking about Usman Qadir is injustice to him.
Some other who got recognisation are, Muhammad Musa, Khushdil Shah and Abdullah Shafiq who just played his first match in the last match of the series, got 43* on debut.
Babar Azam who had chance to be ranked No.1 in the world denied to let Abdullah Shafiq bat in his place so that Pakistan could have another option at opening slot. This was another quality of Babar Azam which makes him even a better leader. Considering the fact he is on a role to lead Pakistan’s Test side as well.
He has already started taking responsibility as while. Babar Azam not only has made his name in consistent players list, but also have made some records in this T20 series.
Here’s how Babar Azam came up with tweet after winning the series for Pakistan.
“Champions! Missed the presence of Pakistan crowd again but cricket in Pakistan is always beyond cricket. Special shout out to Zimbabwe Cricket Team for touring Pakistan. On to PSL Now,” tweeted Babar Azam.
